Is the jewellery hallmarked?

Yes, all jewellery is hallmarked in Japan.

Is the jewellery solid silver and gold?

All materials are in bronze or solid sterling silver (925). They are stamped with the makers mark and hallmarked in Japan.

How do I keep my jewellery clean?

Please refer to our Product Care guide for detailed tips on how to care for your jewellery. There are different finishes available so if in doubt please ask for specific advice regarding the piece you have purchased.

What is the black coloring on some of the jewellery?

There are two different types usually seen on silver jewellery: one is deliberately caused and is referred to as oxidation, created using a chemical that is applied to the surface. The resulting black colour is the end of a process called patination. The other is a naturally occurring and the tarnish is likely to occur with time and wearing, this is not a manufacturing defect but a property of silver metal and can be removed using the cleaning methods detailed above.

If I am buying a present online, and it doesn’t fit or they don’t like it, can I return it?

TSXX pieces are custom made to order therefore all sales are final. Refunds are not eligible. However, in some cases items may be returned for store credit within 14 working days of purchase, unworn and as new. Shipping costs are the customers responsibility. A suitable alternative will be offered at this time. Pieces made specifically to commission cannot be returned due to their individual nature. 

How long will my order take?

TSXX jewellery by the Viking Terry Schiefer is Made in Japan, therefore please allow approximately 3 to 4 weeks for production. Items made to order will be assessed and time scale quoted individually. If an item is not in stock or there will be any delay we will notify you via email in the first instance.

How do I pay?

Payments are made through the website redirection to PayPal through the SHOPIFY store.

How do I contact TSXX jewellery?

How is my gift packaged?

Even the tiniest of presents from tsxx.jp are beautifully presented in a designer presentation box wrapped in a ribbon and sealed with a TSXX label. Your gift is then sealed in a padded envelope or box.

How do I get jewellery customized?

Is there VAT charge online?

All prices online include VAT.

How can I return or exchange an unwanted item purchased from www.tsxx.jp

If you are not happy with your goods that were purchased online, please email us at info@tsxx.jp to discuss it. Regrettably, items custom made to your requirements cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they are defective or faulty. On receipt of the returned goods we will give you a refund of the amount paid for the goods. We do not refund the original delivery charge unless the goods are faulty or have been incorrectly supplied.

How can I get an item repaired?

Please bring in or ship your item via an insured method to the studio at Terry Schiefer, TSXX Limited, B-1201 Shanboru Daimyou, 2-10-2 Daimyou, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Japan, 810-0041. Please provide contact information and a detailed description of the problem. Any items left with us after we notify you of completion and not collected after a 12 month period will become property of TSXX Limited.

Do you make custom jewellery?

We offer a bespoke design service at the studio. Terry Schiefer our qualified jeweller is available by appointment only. In order to find out more about this service, please email or call us. Items left with us after we notify you of completion and not collected after a 12 month period will become property of TSXX Limited. 

What is the length of guarantee on jewellery?

We treat each case on an individual basis, looking at wear and tear since purchase and the reason for returning the item. There is no official warranty period on any items.

My gold plated jewellery is wearing off, what can I do?

Some of the designs available are made from gold plated silver to give a two metal appearance. Wear and tear can wear away the gold plating to leave more silver visible. Gold plating can be repeated for frequently worn items to return them to their original condition. There will be a service charge for this. 

Ring Sizes

TSXX uses Japan ring sizing. We carry a wide range of sizes and special orders outside this and half sizes can be made to order. If you’re uncertain of the size of ring you require please call into our workshop where you can be measured accurately or alternatively pop into your local jewellers where you can be measured. Please remember that a deep band width will often require a larger size ring. Please note that there may an additional charge to alter the ring size from the one ordered.

Caution on Imitation Products

TSXX products should only be purchased directly from our official online store or at our private events. Please beware of imitations and items sold under the name of TSXX through sales channels other than our official webstore.
